Responsibilities
- Delight patients with personalized bedside care during overnight hours
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and ADLs using proper transfer techniques
- Collaborate with RNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Serve as the primary overnight liaison between patients and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 90% of shift
- Strong communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
