Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
- Execute specialized care plans for diverse patient populations with empathy and precision
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
- Utilize electronic health records for real-time documentation
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7PM-7AM) with weekend availability
- Proficient in vital sign monitoring and basic clinical procedures
- Exceptional communication skills with multilingual abilities a plus
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
