Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document care observations accurately in resident charts
- Support meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Participate in team care planning meetings
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Current Illinois CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help elderly residents
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays
