Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients with dietary restrictions.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient room environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain state-required CNA certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply; we value a strong work ethic.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for the initial application.
