Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families during their stay.
- Move patients safely and comfortably using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and surgeries, ensuring their privacy and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians to report changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
