Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment according to infection control standards.
- Communicate changes in a patient's condition to the registered nurse or charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the care plan and physician orders.
- Engage with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education.
Qualifications
- Current and active North Carolina CNA License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
