Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support nurses with medical equipment preparation
- Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must obtain Kansas CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Current CPR/BLS certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- No experience required - training provided!
