Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and progress in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current, active California CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications (if applicable).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
