Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patient comfort by maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition, symptoms, or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assistance: Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Documentation: Accurately document care provided in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Texas State CNA License required.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move patients and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and patient-centered approach.
