Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions and feeding protocols.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and moving patients.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented, and detail-oriented personality.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
