Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) must be up to date.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
