Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment according to safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current, active North Carolina CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
- CPR certification (BLS) is a significant plus.
