Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patient daily activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions accurately
- Support patients with nutrition, hydration, and medication reminders
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and equipment
- Report changes in patient status to nursing supervisors
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning using proper techniques
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
