Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Serve meals and assist patients with eating as needed.
- Document patient care activities and medical records accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA License in the State of Tennessee or Georgia.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for charting and documentation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
