Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under RN supervision
- Ensure patient rooms are sanitized and equipment is properly maintained
- Support patient emotional well-being through active listening
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Spanish language skills (bilingual candidates encouraged)
