Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer medications and document all care activities in accordance with facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA License issued by the State of Wisconsin.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
