Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification in the state of California.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (ACLS preferred).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
