Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and care documentation
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and fall prevention protocols
- Support daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Administer medications under RN supervision as per state regulations
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation and weekend shift availability
