Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic bedside care and comfort measures to patients.
- Assist nurses with patient transfers and mobility to ensure safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license issued by the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on department needs.
