Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor vital signs and document observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
- Collaborate with RNs on care plans and patient updates
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations
- Schedule: 7am-7pm Sat/Sun (12-hour shifts)
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work every weekend plus holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for charting
