Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision and accuracy
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform wound care and basic medical procedures per protocol
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Collaborate with RNs and care team for coordinated patient care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
