Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, client conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers, range-of-motion exercises, and positioning
- Administer medications under proper supervision and maintain accurate records
- Support clients with cognitive impairments using memory care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for clients
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
