Your Role & Responsibilities
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in our patients' daily care and recovery. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide basic nursing care as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Turn, reposition, and position patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required, valid in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
