Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to interventions, and progress toward care goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, safety protocols, and evidence-based nursing practices
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active Georgia RN license (or eligible for immediate license upon graduation)
- Recent graduates within 6 months or nurses with less than 1 year of experience
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
