Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient conditions and needs.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in accordance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Washington State CNA Certification or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
