Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Support patients with daily activities while maintaining dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care plans
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid Indiana driver's license (for facility transport)
