Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or recreational activities.
- Foster a warm, engaging, and safe environment through companionship and conversation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean living space.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition to the Care Manager immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the day.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
