Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Administer local anesthetics and nitrous oxide sedation
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Provide chairside assistance during cosmetic procedures
Qualifications
- Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
