Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care team
- Light housekeeping and errand services as needed
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed)
- Empathetic nature with strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and assist mobility
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- NM caregiver license preferred (training available)
