Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community events
- Document care plans and client progress accurately
- Respond promptly to emergency situations following protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience (home health aide preferred)
- Valid Minnesota caregiver certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to complete training)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Compassionate personality with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to assist clients with transfers and mobility
