Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or community outings.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by a nurse or physician.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not strictly required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently throughout the day.
