Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as needed.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications and report any missed doses or side effects to the nursing team.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals based on dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities to combat loneliness.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, or grocery shopping.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily care logs and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid Arizona CNA or Caregiver Certificate.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health or senior care is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility; good physical stamina.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
