Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medication as directed and document all care activities accurately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CNA or HHA certification is preferred but not always required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
