Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Companionship through conversation, activities, and light housekeeping
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Maintain detailed care records and follow care plans
- Ensure client safety and comfort in home environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and TB test
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
- Fluent in English (Spanish speakers encouraged to apply)
