Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary needs
- Monitor client health and report changes to care coordinator
- Engage clients in meaningful social and recreational activities
- Administer medications accurately and maintain medication logs
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and TB test
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
