Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in EMR systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and care plans
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PENNCAT preferred)
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
- Ability to adapt to diverse clinical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts on short notice
- Pass criminal background and drug screening
