Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to emergent situations
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate patient record management
- Provide patient education on treatment protocols and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (ICU/ER preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
