Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community outings safely
- Document care activities and client progress in electronic health records
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintain a safe, comfortable environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Home Health Aide certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete)
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
