Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer medication reminders and vital sign monitoring
- Perform light housekeeping and errands for clients
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients
- Document care activities and report changes to clinical team
- Transport clients to medical appointments when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and TB screening
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for elderly/disabled
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
