Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Provide medication reminders and support prescribed care plans
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certified nursing assistant (CNA) license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation with valid NC driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and health screening
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on client needs
- Knowledge of dementia care and mobility assistance techniques preferred
