Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical settings including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and specialty clinics
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to interventions using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately and timely in EHR systems
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with the Tennessee Board of Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt to diverse healthcare environments
