Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, and MedSurg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies with critical thinking skills
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient education and support to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
