Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and periodontal treatments
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) and digital impressions
- Manage patient flow and documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Ensure operatory sanitation and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current Texas RDA certification or eligible for certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
- Associate's degree in Dental Assisting preferred
