Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining strict OSHA compliance
- Manage patient records using digital dental software (Epic experience preferred)
- Perform dental radiography with advanced imaging technology
- Deliver patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering protocols
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between exam rooms
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Dental Assistant certification or RDA status
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification with BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume practice
- Degree from CODA-accredited dental assisting program
