Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments using proper infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging systems
- Manage inventory and sterilize dental instruments
- Update patient records and maintain organized documentation
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate scheduling and chairside efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Assistant certification required
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) equipment
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and OSHA standards
- Excellent chairside assisting and patient communication skills
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
