Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precise technique
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures per OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient clinical workflows
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education on oral hygiene
- Maintain patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Coordinate lab cases and digital prosthetic workflows
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Sirona, Carestream) and CAD/CAM workflows
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software preferred
