Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument management
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Manage patient scheduling and clinical workflow coordination
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CDA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Radiology certification and current CPR certification
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
