Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using advanced equipment including digital radiography systems
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient flow and chairside support for efficient treatment delivery
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Maintain digital patient records using practice management software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Inventory management of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid Arizona dental radiography license preferred
