Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer anesthesia and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and inventory
- Coordinate with front desk for seamless patient scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
