Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical equipment
- Take dental X-rays and digital impressions
- Manage patient records using practice management software
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- CPR certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
